I close my eyes, I see sapphire seas
mountains of trees that glisten
from the morning sun
Captivating nights, calm Indian summers
dreams taking flight under the stars
Earth embraces an oasis of beauty
emerald pathways lined with daffodils
that drink the morning dew
Butterflies dance amongst the scent of magnolia fields
the whispering valleys cry out to behold the scenery
how beautiful even if I am day dreaming
it's life floating, endless peace
Echoes cross-valleys to sing songs of autumn leaves
hand painted landscapes of bridges to tranquility
just close your eyes and dream of the possibilities

One nice thing about "possibilities" is sometimes The Second Lady accepts your occasional "thought" and proceeds to weave a series of "events" to make it so (and then the adventure begins for we mortals!!!).
If i can see all this with my eyes closed I m ready to close them.. but then it would not be possible to read ur next poems ;)
