Talking to your Stone

Talking to your Stone

Seems you have been gone for so long

you're not here, and it feels so wrong

Losing you was a devastating blow

in my heart I miss you so

I didn't think it would happen like this

that I would never again feel your kiss

God knows I wanted you to stay

I think about you every single day

Now you have gone away

my heart and soul will never be okay

So now I look up in the midnight sky

every fiber of my being begins to cry

I sit and wish for just one more day

maybe this time, you could stay

I miss you, and wish you would

come home

But alas, I sit here broken and alone

crying and talking to your stone

I hate seeing you sad and what’s worse I can’t do anything about it. None of the 3 things listed elsewhere have changed.

As a person who's lost someone tragically I can understand the grief in this poem. I'm sorry for your loss.

Best Wishes,
Zathyn

S. was bugging me again about your poem. I responded again in the secret place. Read it with 3 beers consumed when you're having one of "those" days.

Just stumbled in...and I find this masterpiece again...it's power comes from your heart.
